NKH Meet Up (Warwick)
And we’re back! For all UK families living with NKH – we’re organising another NKH Community meet up at the British Motor Museum in Warwick. Come spend some time with other NKH families, chat, enjoy a tour around the museum.
Bonus – this year, we’ll have a sound bath session for our NKH bee’s. What’s a sound bath? It’s a really lovely, immersive listening experience where a person is “bathed” in the resonant sounds of instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and chimes to promote relaxation and well-being. It’s very calm and relaxing.
When: Sunday 30 November, 10:30am – 4pm
Where: The British Motor Mueseum, Banbury Road Gaydon, Warwickshire, CV35 0BJ
Cost: £7 for adults, £4 for kids (5-16), Carer’s and Under 5’s free.
(We’ve got a lovely sponsor to subsidise the ticket prices, usually £17 for adults and £9 for children).
The British Motor Museum is wheelchair accessible, and has a changing places facility. We’ve booked a room and will bring mats/rugs, so kids can get our of their wheelchairs if they like (no hoist, as yet, but if this is a request, please let us know and we’ll explore hiring a mobile hoist).
For siblings, there is an additional foyer room with toys (like cars!) and dressing up costumes.
We’ll have access to a kitchen with hot water, and there’s a cafe with many allergen options. We’ll also bring snacks!
It’s going to be a wonderful day – see you there!
